I am equal parts passionate piano teacher and process-improvement fanatic. I spend my days dreaming up ways to accomplish more while doing less and enjoy figuring out how to cultivate fun and engaging experiences for students and teachers alike! It is a joy to set my creative projects free at creativepianoteacher.com. I have a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma and operate my own creative piano studio in Edmond, Oklahoma. When I’m not teaching, performing, or brainstorming, you might find me emptying the tea cabinet or taking my bike for a spin through the woods.
Just ask my students…. I love to collaborate on creative and original piano projects! I teach piano, pedagogy, and music theory at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee where I also get to teach a small studio of pre-college students through our community music school. I have a DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, and I get excited about finding innovative ways to share music with others. I absolutely go nuts for piano ensemble music, especially when performing as part of the Chiara Piano Duo. In my spare time, you can find me hiking, crafting, brewing up some tea, and reading all the books.
